Business description: CPU Tech develops and supplies Compatible System-on-a-Chip solutions. Our products and services directly address the challenges associated with the transformation of microprocessor-based electronic systems to the SoC / MultiCore era. At CPU Tech, we believe that all microprocessor-based systems in all industries will ultimately be transformed and fabricated with SoC technology. We are committed to making the transition to SoC technology practical for critical electronic systems in industries such as Finance, Defense and Aerospace, Entertainment and High End Computing. Over the past decade, we have uniquely created and refined system level automation tools, technologies and IP that enable us to assist our customers in compatibly migrating their systems and applications to the System-on-a-Chip generation of computing. The advanced multiprocessor architectures and System-on-a-Chip technology that we have developed at CPU Tech yield solutions that offer better performance, are more reliable, and require less space and power than alternative embedded or general purpose computing architectures. Most importantly, all CPU Tech solutions are 100% backward compatible, thereby allowing our customers to avoid the enormous expenses associated with software rewrite. Our automated system-level design and verification technologies radically reduce cost and time-to-market for high-end system developers, integrators and users. CPU Tech is a privately held company founded in 1989 and headquartered in Pleasanton, California. Business development offices are located in Reston, Virginia.
