Breathe Technologies, Inc., based in the Bay Area, is developing proprietary medical devices to treat respiratory diseases such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), a serious disease that affects over 12 million Americans. Breathe's technology offerings include a truly portable ventilatory therapy system that improves the natural breathing mechanics of COPD patients, and enables COPD patients to perform normal daily activities such as talking, walking and exercising. Breathe recently completed series A financing with premier Bay Area venture capital firms. The company’s management team has a proven track record of successfully developing early stage companies and technologies. Breathe’s scientific advisory board is made up of an elite team of Pulmonologists and ENT surgeons. The company has completed proof-of-principle product development and is currently completing animal studies, and finalizing clinical protocols for commencement of US and EU trials later this year.
