Farmigo is dedicated to creating a healthy alternative food system that provides fresh, local, affordable and sustainable food for generations to come. We envision a community-oriented food system in which people and farmers in the same geographic region are connected, and everyone has access to fresh-from-harvest food. Farmigo was founded on the belief that locally grown, organic food is healthier and more sustainable for the community and the environment. We began by marrying the strengths of technology and farming to help farms simplify and streamline their direct to consumer deliveries through their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs. We currently work with over 300 farms in 25 states across the United States. In addition to supporting farms in their CSA programs, we recognize that many people want the farm-to-table experience, but need more flexibility and choice. Today, we are tapping into the power of communities and our extensive farmer network to create a whole new local food marketplace, which is more profitable for the farmer and more convenient for the consumer. We are actively building Farmigo Communities across California and New York and are seeking individuals who are interested in connecting with us to bring local, fresh food to their workplace, school, gym or community center.
