Business description: The company was founded in 1991 as Telescan Systems to develop and offer our first generation selling technology: listening posts and viewing stations in retail music and video stores, our original target market. We met the practical challenges of developing and servicing hardware that withstood a hostile retail environment while delivering rich product information. Telescan Systems installed more than 100,000 standalone devices in the field and to this day the company still commands a sizeable share of the market. Why? We learned through continuous improvement how to build engaging, reliable systems that simultaneously satisfies consumers and merchants. We evolved to Imagicast a few years ago as we began to design and produce a second generation selling technology. We fully assimilated this unmatched field experience into a new retail medium that makes a true convergence of the in-store, Internet and mobile channels possible. Imagicast is the only company that can offer our customers practical know-how that greatly exceeds potential competitors and the creative vision to realize today what your consumers have scarcely imagined for tomorrow.
