Business description: Micro Linear provides highly integrated semiconductors for wired Ethernet networks and for broadband wireless networks in consumer, SOHO, and enterprise applications. In 1999, the company introduced two RF transceiver chip sets both currently in volume production. The first, a 2.4GHz RF frequency hopping, spread spectrum (FHSS), transceiver chip set and reference design, complete a very cost effective 2Mbps network for SOHO applications. The second, a 900MHz Low IF single chip transceiver is one of the most highly integrated radio solutions available today providing all required self-aligning filters on-chip.
