ZeroG Wireless was founded based on the belief that a new paradigm of wireless connectivity is upon us. We envision a 4th Age of Wireless™ — the Internet of Things. Trends such as pervasive deployment of wireless infrastructure and the demand for portability, coupled with cost reductions in computing and storage all point towards a world requiring a new connectivity solution, one enabling a mass market for connected wireless nodes. ZeroG develops technology that meets the needs of a 4th Age of Wireless through development of extremely low-power mixed-signal ICs. Continued progress in the semiconductor industry now makes it possible to process, collect and store information on a massive scale. Information is easily obtained by a host of distributed nodes throughout the consumer and enterprise landscape. The challenge remains, however, how to easily access and process this information. A wireless solution that connects these disparate nodes would surely enable a new age of wireless and stimulate the creation of a rich variety of applications. This 4th Age of Wireless™ —of things talking to things— is unfolding organically today. The key attribute of a wireless solution that connects these devices is low power. This new age, however, requires new solutions. It needs dramatic reductions in power that result only from sustained effort directed toward achieving those objectives.
